Sound good to me
After reading the last review I had to go back and listen to the recording. I heard the vocals just fine. The vocals are a little back in the mix but are great. Green Tea has been around long before Liquid Dead if anyone was wondering. They rock!! I will try downloading the show and see of there is any loss in quality. The recording is not perfect but not half as bad as others would want you to believe.
Where did I say that they played all originals? I said that there are great originals. I guess there are some tough customers out there.
Rock on GT!!

Good Potential, Lousy Sound
This group apparently formed from Liquid Dead. Instead of being a Dead cover band, however, it has more of a throwback sound to Traffic without Steve Winwood. The writeup claims all original material, but several songs are covers of tunes probably too old for the writer to remember. The cover of Marley's "Redemption Song" works very well by overlaying the band's own style on the original. "Guard Rail" and "Shovels and Guns" both appear to be original material that generally work well. The problem is that the set is miked so poorly that you can't tell if the group vocals are off-key or merely distorted, the rhythym guitar is out front of the lead guitar, the top end has phase distortion with the crowd noise, and the bass and bass drum are indistunguishable. Rated on the basis that, with some rehearsel and studio time, this group could be at least a regional breakout.
Notes
comments: Great show. These guys rock. Sick jams and great original tunes that make this set worth adding to any archive.
Enjoy!!
